The First Tee of Greater Detroit

To make golf accessible to all youth in metro Detroit, with a focus on underrepresented boys and girls in Detroit. The First Tee of Greater Detroit helps reshape the worldview of young people in Detroit and surrounding areas by teaching STEM, life skills and character education though the game of golf. We partner with schools, parents and the community to provide evidence-based curricula for participants to achieve successful outcomes for their future. The Greater Detroit chapter is part of a national youth development organization, The First Tee, focused on instilling life-enhancing values in children through the game of golf.
